The St. Louis Business Journal’s 2019 Family Business Awards honor 12 companies for their longevity, entrepreneurship, perseverance, creativity and community involvement. "This year, the fourth for these awards, we received almost 50 nominations from a wide variety of industries, reflecting St. Louis’ large number of family businesses that have been successful for generations."
John Henry Foster was selected as one of five 2nd generation family businesses in St. Louis to receive the award. This award recognizes family-owned companies that have successfully transitioned to the next generation (or several generations) and have made an impact on the St. Louis community
